1st Annual Hardin Park Cruise In
10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Hardin Park in Greeneville
Host Clubs, all from Greeneville, include:
Davy Crockett Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA)
Ridge Runners Car Club
Volunteer State Automobile Club.
Entry fee $10
Open to all cars, trucks, bikes and farm tractors. The Crescent Drive gate, normally the main park entrance, will be closed. Cruise in vehicles and handicapped spectators will enter the park via Magnolia Drive off East Vann Road. This is normally the park’s exit but traffic flow will be reversed for this event.
Spectator parking will be in the Hal Henard School parking lot located on East Vann Road.
Those bringing vehicles by trailer are asked to unload in the school parking lot and drive them onto East Vann Road then turn onto Magnolia Drive.
Cash prizes will be awarded plus numerous door prizes, jammers (small group(s) of musicians who just sit around over in the corner and jam) are welcomed, vendor space will be available.
Funds derived from the cruise in will be donated by the clubs to various charities. Some of those charities include: Children’s Miracle Network; Greene County Coal Fund, Food Bank, Scottish Rights Club Shoes For Kids and disaster relief; Appalachian Helping Hands; Freewill Baptist Ministries; Holston Home For Children; Shrine Club Paper Sale.
Food will be available. Concessions under auspices of Greeneville Department of Parks & Recreation.
Spectators admitted free of charge.
