Rose Center Council for the Arts is inviting the Lakeway Area’s creative community to share their ideas on the future of the center in a special Artists’ Forum.
Billed the “Confab of Creators,” the meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15 in the Jean Keener community room at the Rose.
The agenda of the meeting will be wide ranging, including such topics as how the Rose should promote and support the artistic community, how the arts fit into the overall fabric of the Lakeway Area, how arts and culture initiatives should be advocated to our local and state leaders, and how the Rose Center facility can be used as a tool in all these efforts.
The meeting will be facilitated by Director Drew Ogle and Peggy Brewer, who chairs the Artist Advisory Council for the Rose. Brewer is an active member of the Morristown Art Association and has chaired the association’s Arts in the Park celebration since its inception in 2006.
